What decides a division
The best won-lost-tied percentage over all games wins the
division, and the winner is seeded ahead of every wild card in the
conference whatever the records say. Clubs level on percentage are separated by
head-to-head, then division record, then common games, then conference
record, then strength of victory — the full list, including the steps that
need scores, is printed on the predictor pages. Where the
seeding stands today is the playoff picture.
